There are many remedies for acne. However, it solely depends upon the type of acne and the severity it has. One can ground drumstick pods and its leaves and then mix them with fresh lemon juice. A thin application of this solution is to be made onto the affected area. This is also good home remedy to treat blackheads and dark circles.
An application of a paste of fresh fenugreek leaves onto the face every night for about half an hour before rinsing it with lukewarm water is also one of the best home remedies for acne. This also prevents pimples, blackheads, and aging creases.

One can simply mix groundnut oil with an equal quantity of fresh lemon juice and make an application onto the face. Keep this for about half an hour and then rinse. It can also be applied on daily basis for preventing the formation of acne and blackheads.

One of the simplest home remedies for acne includes an application of the juice of raw papaya preferably including the skins and seeds. Make application onto the affected area on regular basis for about 2-3 months.

Mixing the lemon juice and rosewater in equal quantity and applying onto the affected area is one of the effective home remedies for acne. Rinse it later on.

Application of ripen tomatoes’ pulp on acne or pimples for about an hour before rinsing it thoroughly is good home remedy for acne. Tomatoes have natural skin healing properties.

An application of the paste made out of roasted & powdered pomegranate skins with added fresh lemon juice is beneficial not only for acne but also to heal black and whiteheads.
One of the time-tested and trusted home remedies for acne includes an application of grated potatoes as poultice. It helps treating skin blemishes, creases, pustules and pimples etc.

In case, acne is associated with burning sensation, home remedy for acne includes application of the paste made up of sandalwood and rosewater. Apply this onto the affected area before rinsing it with normal water. Sandalwood and rosewater have healing effects on burning acne.

Some of the holistic healing medical science such as Chinese medicines and Ayurveda favors applying a paste made up of turmeric powder and fresh mint’s juice. Application onto the affected areas will help healing inflammation and redness of the pimples.

In case, acne is the result of some infection, a paste made up of Neem (Indian wonder herb) leaves and turmeric powder gives favorable results. Application onto the affected area will heal with the regular usage.

One of the simplest home remedies for acne includes making a paste by mixing honey and cinnamon powder. This is to be applied just before hitting the sack and in the next morning, it is to be rinsed thoroughly with normal plain water.
